With all this pollution in the world, all this excessive waste, what could we do as a community?
There are many ways that we can help the environment, to make it green and clean once again. We can take these baby steps as a community to become more aware and environmentally friendly!
You can’t see it but it doesn’t mean it’s not there! Air pollution is a massive contributor and it is making our beautiful planet sick. More importantly air pollution travels great distances.
What can we do?
WALK MORE! If you are travelling and your destination is a walking distance, be healthy and fit and choose to walk. Not only are you burning calories, you are also saving gasoline and more importantly, you are not contributing to air pollution. Everybody wins!
“Oh yes, water, the source of all life, is that a plastic bag I see?”
People we need to minimise our waste! Plastic bags, dead animals, chemical waste, that sandwich bag you forgot to throw away, yes, all of it.
We need to be aware that our waste on land can affect our waterways which inevitably can affect our natural habitats, native animals and we humans who rely on our water system to keep us hydrated and alive.
So if you see rubbish around please pick it up and save our world.
Which leads me to…
Ah yes, I think we are all very much aware of this concept. In every school assembly and classroom we’ve been in, you’d hear your teacher say, “Throw your rubbish in the bins, that’s why we have bins all over the school, it’s not for decoration.”
Land pollution deteriorates our Earth’s land surface, which can cause enormous damage for us, animals, plants and the next generation. Land pollution affects the whole world and taking responsibility for your own rubbish may not seem like a big thing but in fact, it is!
A small change can make an enormous impact. This change can start with you.
