The united force of Natural Sciences at Sydney University gave WMBB Summer Program students a first hand experience of a range of disciplines.
Attending the Camden Campus, they learned about agriculture, atmospheric and soil science, botany and veterinary science.
Tyler Fleischmann’s interest in science came from an extreme event in primary school, falling into a friend’s pool and being clinically dead for seven minutes.
He’s pursued a future in the field ever since arriving at high school.
“Being on this camp and program has been great. Going into lectures and seeing first hand scientists doing their work. It’s just made me feel what it’s like at university. I really want to be a scientist and this has just made my passion pop.”
