It’s the most fun you can have with four letters…
Applications for the Wingara Mura/Bunga Barrabugu summer programs close this Friday, September 15, so head over to this page here and apply NOW. Then you can come back and find out why that was a great idea.
WMBB is the perfect way to find out what it’s like to go to university – you stay on campus at the University of Sydney, and learn more about the different things you can study after school. But that’s the serious part. (The other serious part is that Sydney Uni pays for all your travel, accommodation and other expenses.)
The first thing that happens when you arrive at the uni is Uno and Monopoly, or just hanging out and chatting. It’s a friendly, fun environment where you can make friends from all around Australia. Everyone is welcoming, there’s heaps to do and the food is incredible.
It’s the perfect way to figure out what you’d like to do with your life in a no-stress atmosphere. Whether you’re thinking about being an architect, going into social work, becoming a lawyer, dedicating your future to art or working as an engineer, you can get hands-on experience in what that looks and feels like.
And if that list stressed you out – because you have no idea what you want to be – that’s even better. Come along and learn about the universe of possibilities that opens up when you get to uni. Plus there’s free ice-cream and a talent contest that is the most fun you’ll ever have.
