At the start of September, the A•STAR crew travelled to Ballina to catch up with Jordan Webb: Bunga Barrabugu alumna and all-around excellent human being.
While we were there she was kind enough to take us on a tour of Ballina and its surrounds, despite the fact that she’s in the middle of studying for her HSC exams (!), and due to start sitting them in mid-October.
In addition to showing us some of the natural features of the Ballina region (and boy are they beautiful) and telling us a little bit about herself, she also offered us some reflections on giant shellfish, finishing high school, and what it means to be Aboriginal.
Jordie: thanks so much, and good luck in your exams!
